Woolhope, Temporary Road Closure Due To Trenching Works

Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1295, Woolhope, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1295, Woolhope, approximatley 100m west of Wessington Farm. Grid Ref: 360097/235057.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4224 onto the C1296 onto the C1295 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to new supply trenching works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 24th of November 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 12 days.
