TEMPORARY CLOSURE B4081 WESTINGTON (CHIPPING CAMPDEN TOWN) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the B4081 Westington Road from its junction with Blind Lane to its junction with Sheep Street for a distance of approximately 320 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for footway resurfacing works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C116 THE SQUARE (CHIPPING CAMPDEN TOWN) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C116 The Square from its junction with Lower High Street to outside the property known as ‘Dragon Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 46 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for works to repair/replace defective manhole cover.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE VARIOUS ROADS (BLEDINGTON PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the roads as described in the schedule below.

The reason for the said closure is for Internet installation works.

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ON-STREET PARKING ORDER 2017 (MEADOW WAY, BOURTON ON THE WATER) (COTSWOLD DISTRICT) (EXPERIMENTAL VARIATION) ORDER NO. 2 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made an Experimental Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will experimentally vary the Gloucestershire County Council On Street Parking Order 2017 (“the 2017 Order”) by experimentally introducing the restrictions described in the Schedule below.

The roads fall within the Parish of Bourton-on-the-Water in the Cotswolds District within Gloucestershire.
This Experimental Traffic Regulation Order supersedes the Gloucestershire County Council On-Street Parking Order 2017 (Meadow Way, Bourton On The Water) (Cotswold District) (Experimental Variation) Order 2025 which was made in May 2025.
A copy of this Experimental Traffic Regulation Order which comes into effect on 6th November 2025, the 2017 Order, the sealed plan that is revoked, the sealed plan to be inserted into the Schedule of Plans together with a copy of the Statement of Reasons and other relevant documents may be viewed at The Map Room, Shire Hall, Westgate Street, Gloucester, GL1 2TG and Bourton on the Water Library, George Moore Community Centre, Moore Road, Bourton On the Water GL54 2AZ during their normal opening hours and online at http://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/tros (Please quote reference CB85097).
The Experimental Traffic Regulation Order is Experimental and may continue in force for a period of up to 18 months. In due course the Council will consider whether the provisions of the Experimental Traffic Regulation Order should continue in force indefinitely.
Within 6 months of coming into force of the Experimental Traffic Regulation Order any person may object to its indefinite continuation. Any such representation should be sent in writing to the Assistant Director of Legal Services, Shire Hall, Westgate Street, Gloucester, GL1 2TG or emailed to highwayconsult@gloucestershire.gov.uk no later than 6th May 2026 stating the grounds on which it is made.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION C140 RISSINGTON ROAD (BOURTON ON THE WATER PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the C140 Rissington Road from outside of the property known as ‘Bordoe1’ to outside of the property known as ‘Frogmere’ for a distance of approximately 50 metres.
The reason for the said closure and restriction is for sewer pipe replacement works.
There will be no waiting, stopping, loading or unloading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.
The said road is expected to be closed and restricted from 17th November 2025 to 20th December 2025 or until the works have been completed. However, if the works are not completed by this date the Order can remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH HBW38 (BOURTON ON THE WATER PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) the Public Footpaths as described in the schedule below:
SCHEDULE
Public Footpath HBW 38 in the Parish of Bourton-on-the-Water is to be temporarily closed to users from its junction with Rissington Road in a generally South Westerly direction for approximately 410 metres from its junction with Public Footpath HBW 29.
The footpath falls within the Parish of Bourton on the Water in the Cotswold District in the county of Gloucestershire.
The closure is necessary to safeguard the public whilst essential water mains works are carried out.
The Order will come into force on 17th November 2025 and the public rights of way will close on that day until 22nd November 2025. This Order authorises the closure for up to six months but if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.
Alternative Route: As signed on site. Emergency Service access and pedestrian access to adjoining premises will be maintained.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C137 WYCK RISSINGTON TO WYCK ROAD (WYCK RISSINGTON PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C137 Wyck Rissington to Wyck Road from outside the property known as ‘Maces Cottage’ to outside the property known as ‘Laurence House’ for a distance of approximately 350 metres.
The reason for the closure is for urgent drainage improvement works to prevent flooding.
The road was originally closed by Notice which came into force on the 22nd October 2025 and could remain in force for up to 5 days. It was known at that point that the works could not be completed during the 5 days and it would be necessary to make an Order which would come into force at the end of the 5 day period. The Order has now been made and can authorise closure of the road for up to 18 months from the date of the original Notice, or until the works have been completed whichever is sooner.
