HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:  

1. Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 17eg Tachwedd 2025 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau ar 17eg Tachwedd 2025 gan weithredu rhwng  08:00 – 17:00. Bydd y gwaith hwn yn cael ei gwblhau mewn 2 ran - bydd angen cau hyn eto yn 2026.  

2. Mae'r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol er mwyn Clirio Llystyfiant a Sefydlogi Pibellaumewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad, a hynny yn dilyn tirlithriad diweddar yn yr ardal. Bydd mynediad rhesymol yn cael ei gynnal ar gyfer eiddo sydd ar hyd y ffyrdd a effeithir arnynt tra y bydd yr heol ar gau.  

3. Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd cau dros dro ran o Rhan Isaf Cwm Nant Gam, Bryn Llanelli, Sir Fynwy, o'r gyffordd â Gelly Felen i’r gyffordd gyda Darenfelen.  

4. Bydd llwybr dargyfeirio fel a ganlyn: Cwm Nant Gam Uchaf, Rhes y Glowyr, Darenfelen ac i’r gwrthwyneb.     

5. Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Rhan Isaf Cwm Nant Gam, Bryn Llanelli, Sir Fynwy 2025.  

6. Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

SECTION 14 - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCI
(LOWER CWM NANT GAM, LLANELLY HILL, MONMOUTHSHIRE) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2025  

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Intends to make an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984  

1. The Order shall come into operation on the 17th November 2025 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed on the 17th November 2025, operating between 08:00 – 17:00. These works will be completed in 2 phases, an additional closure will be required in 2026.  

2. The order is necessary to allow Vegetation Clearance and Main Stabilisation works to take place in a safe manner at the location due to a recent landslip in the area.Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.  

3. The effect of the order will be to temporarily close a section of Lower Cwm Nant Gam, Llanelly Hill, Monmouthshire , from its junction with Gelly Felen to its junction with Darenfelen.  

4. A signed diversionary route will be in place as follows:- Upper Cwm Nant Gam, Miners Row, Darenfelen and vice versa.  

5. This order may be cited as the Lower Cwm Nant Gam, Llanelly Hill, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2025  

6. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
