NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of South Road, Timsbury, Bath from a point outside 4 Greenvale extending north east to a point outside Batholomew Hall. USRN: 47917805.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Bristol Water to install a new water connection from the 11th November 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for THREE DAYS.

• A road closure in that length of Brook Road, Twerton, Bath from its point at the Railway Bridge extending to its junction with West Avenue/Triangle North. USRN: 47900367.
• A temporary suspension of the one-way restriction in that length of Brook Road, Twerton, Bath from its junction with Caledonian Road to its point with the Railway Bridge, to allow vehicles to exit towards A36 Lower Bristol Road.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Network Rail to carry out vegetation removal and masonry repairs from the 8th November 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.
