NOTICE OF MAKING OF AN ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 – SECTION 118
MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

KINGSWOOD FOOTPATH NO 267 (PART) MONMOUTH PUBLIC PATH ORDER 2025

The above Order was made on the 4th November 2025 under section 118 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the order will be to extinguish part of footpath 267 Monmouth. From Point A (SO49281246) in an easterly direction for 74m to Point B (SO49351247). From B, East South Easterly for 164m to Point C (SO49511243). From C, Easterly for 64m to Point D (SO49581244). From D, Easterly for 48m to join the county road at Point E (SO49621245). As shown on the order map.
A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge at The Monmouth Community Hub, Rolls Hall, Whitecross St, Monmouth NP25 3BY. Opening hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 08:45 to 13.00 and 14.00 to 17.00, Tuesday 08:45 to13.00 and 14.00 to 17.00 and Saturday 09:00 to 13.00. Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to Chief officer, Law and Governance, Monmouthshire County Council, The Rhadyr, County Hall, Usk, NP15 1GA not later than 10th December 2025. Please state the grounds on which they are made. 
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Monmouthshire County Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Welsh Ministers for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
