Friary Road, North Finchley - Temporary Road Closure due to pedestrian crossing installation
What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
FRIARY ROAD N12
The BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing for the need to facilitate the installation of a pedestrian crossings with a raised table, drainage works and the installation of speed cushions and footway reconstruction works, they intend to make an Order which will close Friary Road N12, outside Nos. 8 to 10 Friary Road, while the works take place.
The works will commence on Monday 17th November 2025 at 8am and is expected to last for 6 days.
The alternative route for motorists will be via Torrington Park, Ravensdale Ave, High Road and vice versa.
Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Officer in uniform or other uniformed personnel authorised by the Commissioner of the Metropolis.
