What is happening?
THE BOROUGH OF BLACKPOOL
(JEPSON WAY) (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Blackpool Borough Council has on 29 October 2025 made the Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 53 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984 and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on a section of Jepson Way.
A copy of the Order, and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Customer First, Municipal Buildings, Corporation Street, Blackpool, FY1 1NF, please telephone 01253 477477 to make an appointment to view the documents.
Any person wishing to challenge the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Act or that any requirements of that, or of any instrument made under it have not been complied with may apply to the High Court within six weeks following 29 October 2025.
