Grange-over-Sands, Temporary No Waiting & No Loading/Unloading Restrictions Due To Utility Works

WESTMORLAND AND FURNESS COUNCIL (WINDERMERE ROAD AND MAIN STREET, GRANGE OVER SANDS) (TEMPORARY NO WAITING AT ANY TIME AND NO LOAD ING/UN LOAD ING AT ANY TIME TRAFFIC RESTRICTION) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out ("the Works"), Westmorland and Furness Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from waiting at any time, on any day and/or from loading and unloading, at any time, on any day (including blue badge holders) along that section of:

(i) Windermere Road, west side from its junction with Nutwood Crescent, extending in a north easterly direction for approx 30m; and

(ii) Main Street, west side from a point 180m from its junction with Nutwood Crescent, extending in a south westerly direction for approx. 20m.

The Order will come into operation on 17th November 2025 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 3 days and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
