TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTIONS –

VARIOUS ROADS, LYMINGTON & PENNINGTON, NEW FOREST

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Bridge Road between its junction with Almansa Way and its junction with Undershore Road.

ROAD WHERE WEIGHT RESTRICTION IS SUSPENDED: that part of High Street between its junction with A337 Romsey Road and its junction with Gosport Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Marsh Lane, A337, B3055, B3054.

DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 10th November 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 weeks working between the hours 19:00–07:00).
