What is happening?

DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make the following Order,
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary One-Way Restriction & Temporary Prohibition of Parking) (Banners Street, Cradley) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in a south-east-bound direction on Banners Street, Cradley. Parking will also be temporarily prohibited along Banners Street (from opposite no.58 to opposite no.88). The purpose is to safely facilitate structural repair works to a wall being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 12.11.2025 and will remain in force until 23.10.2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Overend Road and Banners Street.
Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
