What is happening?

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER/S - PUBLIC NOTICES OF INTENTION
NOTICE is hereby given that Shropshire Council (“the Council”) intend, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order/s under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 (as amended), the effect of which is to restrict the use of road/s as stated below. The Order/s for restriction is/are required for the purpose/s as stated below. There are exceptions in the Order/s to permit pedestrian access (and/or vehicular access at the discretion of the Council or Statutory Undertaker) to any land or premises having a frontage to the said highway affected where there is no other form of access, and to any access allowing the necessary works to be undertaken. Access will be maintained for cyclists, pedestrians and dismounted horse riders unless stated below. The alternative route/s for those affected by the proposal/s is/are as stated below.
It is intended that the proposed restriction/s will come into force on the 10th November 2025 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months (unless extended upon the direction of the Secretary of State) or until any said works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is expected the Order will only be operative for the duration as stated in below.
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from waiting, loading or parking on St Marys Place, Shrewsbury from opposite The Parade shopping centre to the ticket machine opposite no.5
Date & Duration: 15th November 2025 for 1 day between 07:00 to 17:00
Purpose: Restricted event parking only, to enable deliveries and pickup during the day for an event held in St Mary's Church
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using St Marys Lane, Ludlow
Date & Duration: 11th November 2025 for 2 days
Purpose: Road Closure-Cadent-Remedial defect - Depression to dig out and relay
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using A489 Horderley
Date & Duration: 10th November 2025 for 26 days (Monday to Friday)
Purpose: Road Closure to enable removal of diseased ash trees.
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using B4370 between Marshbrook and A49
Date & Duration: 16th November 2025 from 22:00 to 05:00 17th November 2025
Purpose: Road Closure-Network Rail-Signaling Level Crossing annual testing and maintenance
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using B5477 Shrewsbury Road, Church Stretton
Date & Duration: 16th November 2025 for 1 day
Purpose: Road Closure-Openreach-MJ Quinn are to replace 1 decayed wooden BT pole
Description of restriction: Pedestrians will be prohibited from using Footpath From Squirrel Walk Following Rad Brook, Shrewsbury
Date & Duration: 10th November 2025 for 5 days
Purpose: Footpath Closure - BT, 100 metres of duct to be installed within footpath.
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Main Street, Croesau Bach, Shropshire
Date & Duration: 10th November 2025 for 2 days
Purpose: Road Closure - Boundary Box Install
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Newton on The Hill, Harmer Hill
Date & Duration: 14th November 2025 for 1 day between 08:00 to 17:00
Purpose: Road Closure - New pole and replace overhead conductor
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Patshull Lane, Boningale
Date & Duration: 11th November 2025 for 3 days between 09:30 to 16:00
Purpose: Road Closure to enable carriageway repairs
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Patshull Road, Albrighton
Date & Duration: 13th November 2025 for 5 days between 09:30 to 16:00
Purpose: Road Closure to enable carriageway repairs.
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Queen Street, Broseley
Date & Duration: 12th November 2025 for 4 days
Purpose: Road Closure to enable footway slurry seal
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Sandy Lane, Grinshill
Date & Duration: 12th November 2025 for 9 days between 09:30 to 16:00
Purpose: Road Closure to enable carriageway repairs
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Ollerton Lane, Ollerton
Date & Duration: 11th November 2025 for 4 days between 08:00 to 17:00
Purpose: Carriageway resurfacing
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using St Johns Hill, Ellesmere
Date & Duration: 10th November 2025 for 4 days between 09:30 to 16:00
Purpose: Multevo carriageway repairs
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Rowe Lane, Stanton Long
Date & Duration: 10th November 2025 for 2 days
Purpose: Road Closure-Severn Trent Water-Boundary box install
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Cartway, Bridgnorth. The One way order on Friars Street will be reversed to allow access for residents
Date & Duration: 12th November 2025 for 3 days between 09:30 to 15:00
Purpose: Road Closure-Openreach-To provide a safe working area for engineers to excavate in footway to provide fibre service for a new customer connection

Date & Duration: 11th November 2025 for 1 day
Purpose: Road Closure - BT, pole replacement works.
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Unnamed Road Between Cantlop And Pitchford
Date & Duration: 16th November 2025 for 1 day
Purpose: Road Closure - Severn Trent, remedial works to rectify defective reinstatement.
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Unnamed Road Between Little Ness And Yeaton
Date & Duration: 16th November 2025 for 1 day
Purpose: Road Closure - Severn Trent Water, replace defective manhole cover.
Description of restriction: Traffic will be prohibited from using Unnamed road between Lydbury North and Stank Lane
Date & Duration: 10th November 2025 for 1 day between 09:30 to 14:30
Purpose: Road CLosure-Openreach - Provide new pole
