CYPRESS AVENUE AND WILLS CRESCENT, WHITTON

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames proposes to make the above Order under section 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effects of the Waiting and Loading Restrictions Order will be to introduce a length of double yellow lines ("no waiting at any time") on the western side of Wills Crescent between Nos. 62 and 70 Wills Cresent, and in Cypress Avenue to upgrade the existing single yellow lines outside Nos. 59-69 and Nos. 56 and 58 Cypress Avenue to double yellow lines.

3. Copies of the propsals: -

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 25/203, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

(b) may be viewed on the Council’s web-site at http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices

4. Persons wishing to object to or support the proposals or any part thereof should write to the Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ within 28 days of the date of this Notice giving the grounds of their objection. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure

Albert Road, Richmond.

(Reference 25/197)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water connection works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Albert Road, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Albert Road, Richmond from the junction with Beatrice Road to the junction with Lorne Road.

3. Whilst Albert Road, Richmond is closed, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Albert Road, Audley Road, Kings Road, and Sheen Road, and Albert Road, Worple Way, Princes Road, Audley Road, Kings Road, and Sheen Road.

4. The order will come into effect on 03 November 2025. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 03 November 2025 to 06 November 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure

Church Street, Twickenham.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cleaning works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Church Street, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Church Street, Twickenham from the junction with Church Lane Eastwards for a distance of 22 metres.

3. Whilst Church Street is closed, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Church Lane, Riverside, Lebanon Park and Richmond Road and vice versa.

4. The order will come into effect on 11 November 2025. These works are anticipated to be in progress at night only from 22.00 on 11 November 2025 to 05.00 on 12 November 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Church Street, Hampton.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main connection works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Church Street, Hampton.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Church Street, Hampton at the junction with High Street Hampton outside number 68.

3. Whilst Church Street, Hampton is closed, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via High Street Hampton, and Church Street and vice versa.

4. The order will come into effect on 10 November 2025. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 10 November 2025 to 16 November 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5.  The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

1.The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate remedial works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Warren Avenue, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Warren Avenue, Richmond from the junction with Upper Richmond Road West to outside the boundary wall of number 2 Warren Avenue.

3. Whilst Warren Avenue, Richmond is closed, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Rothesay Avenue, Tangier Road, Warren Avenue and vice versa.

4. The order will come into effect on 10 November 2025. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 10 November 2025 to 12 November 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Field Lane, Teddington.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Field Lane, Teddington from the junction with High Street to the junction with Springfield Road.

3. Whilst Field Lane, Teddington is closed, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via High Street, Cedar Road, Bridgeman Road, Field Lane and vice versa.

4. The order will come into effect on 10 November 2025. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 10 November to 11 November 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

Temporary Cycle Lane Suspension

Sheen Road, Richmond.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to Facilitate telecom works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary prohibition of traffic in Sheen Road, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place, the cycle lane will be suspended in Sheen Road, Richmond from the junction with Sheen Common Drive in a westwards direction for a distance of 15 metres.

3. The order will come into effect on 09 November 2025, the works are anticipated to be in progress at all times on 09 November 2025 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
