Slates Lane, Ilkley - Temporary Road Closure due to Water Works

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

SLATES LANE, ILKLEY

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Slates Lane, Ilkley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Slates Lane from its junction with Coppwyood Drive to its junction with Curly Hill.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Slates Lane (unaffected section), Langbar Road, Denton Road, Middleton Avenue, Curly Hill vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 10th November 2025 and remain in force until 17:00 hours on the 5th December 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
