What is happening?

U69S – TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (U69S Wardhouse – 05.11.25) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular traffic) Order, 2025” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate from 05.11.25 for a period of 14 days and will prohibit any person from driving on the U69S Wardhouse from junction B9002 to Wraes.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety to allow for blockage works and a new duct to be laid. An alternative route is available via the U69S – C66S – U69S – B9002 – U69S and vice versa.
