Burkham Lane, Bentworth - Temporary Road Closure due to Pole Replacement Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – BURKHAM LANE, BENTWORTH,
EAST HAMPSHIRE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Burkham Lane between its junction with Drury Lane and continuing to a point 850 metres North on Burkham Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Ashley Road, New Lane, Rushmoor Lane, Berrywood Lane, Red Lane, Spain Lane.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 10th November 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day working between the hours 08:00–18:00).
