Ashwell Road, Bradford - Temporary Road Closure due to Telecommunication Works

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

ASHWELL ROAD, BRADFORD

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works proposed to be executed on or near Ashwell Road, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Ashwell Road from its junction with Toller Lane to its junction with Saplin Street.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Ashwell Road (unaffected section), Saplin Street, Toller Lane and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 21:00 hours on the 12th November 2025 and remain in force until 05:00 hours on the 13th November 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
