NOTICE OF CONFIRMED ORDER

HAMPSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

THE HAMPSHIRE (NEW FOREST DISTRICT NO.15) (PARISH OF ELLINGHAM HARBRIDGE AND IBSLEY) PUBLIC PATH CREATION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2025

On 02 October 2025 Hampshire County Council confirmed the above Order made under section 26 of the Highways Act 1980.

The effect of the Order as confirmed will create a public footpath commencing at a junction with Ellingham Harbridge and Ibsley Footpath 727 and proceeding north-westwards around the edge of Karma Cottage and continuing on a raised path between Goblins Lake and Shaves Green, bearing northwards between fencing alongside the Salisbury Road to a junction with Ellingham Drove.

A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the offices of Hampshire County Council, The Castle, Winchester, SO23 8UD, and at the offices of New Forest District Council, Appletree Court, Beaulieu Road, Lyndhurst, Hampshire, SO43 7PA, at all reasonable hours; and online at www.hants.gov.uk/publicnotices

The Order came into force on 02 October 2025, but if any person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from 31 October 2025 make an application to the High Court.
