Aberdeenshire: Rathen Church to Rathen School – Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic

ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL

U12B - TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

“The Aberdeenshire Council (U12B Rathen Church to Rathen School – 03.11.25) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2025” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984. The order will operate from 03.11.25 for 3 weeks and will prohibit any person from driving on the U12B Rathen Church to Rathen School.

Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.

The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety due to works in connection with the installation of a new water connection. An alternative route is available via the U12B at Rathen Church to the U12B at Rathen School and vice versa.
