A23 TRUNK ROAD – BOLNEY TO PATCHAM TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS

Notice is hereby given that National Highways Limited intends to vary The A23 Trunk Road (Hickstead to Muddleswood Lay-bys and Bus Stops) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 (a), originally made on 22nd August 2025.

The effect of the variation would be to extend the scope of the existing 24-hour closure of all lay-bys and bus stops adjacent to both carriageways of the A23 to between Bolney Crossways (A272) and Patcham Interchange (A27).

The variation would come into force on 22nd November 2025, ceasing when the works are complete.

The temporary closures would be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they are in operation during the works period.
