Church Square, Oldbury - Temporary Road Closure

SANDWELL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

The Borough Council of Sandwell (Church Square, Oldbury) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025 intends to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Church Square, which will be closed from its junction with Birmingham Street to the western boundary of Church Square Dental Practice. Access to any affected frontages will be maintained but only when safety permits. Traffic will be diverted via Birmingham Street, Halesowen Street & Canal Street. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the work is expected to be completed by 14/11/2025 effective from 11/11/2025 (24hrs). Purpose – to facilitate access for a new gas connection by Cadent Gas Ltd.
