What is happening?

SCOTTISH BORDERS COUNCIL

(THE SQUARE & EAST HIGH STREET, GREENLAW)
(TEMPORARY NO WAITING) ORDER 2025
The Scottish Borders Council (The Square & East High Street, Greenlaw) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 8 November 2025 and is expected to remain in effect until 25 January 2026. The Order is required for safe passage of abnormal load.
When the Order comes into effect, no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked along both sides of the following roads on the dates and at the times specified:
(a) The Square, Greenlaw; and
(b) East High Street, Greenlaw; from
 (i) 00:01 on 8 November to 23:59 on 9 November 2025;
 (ii) 00:01 on 13 December to 23:59 on 14 December 2025; and
 (iii) 00:01 on 24 January to 23:59 on 25 January 2026.

(A1107 TOLL BRIDGE ROAD, EYEMOUTH)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025
The Scottish Borders Council (A1107 Toll Bridge Road, Eyemouth) (Temporary
Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:30 on 3 November 2025 and is expected to remain in effect until 17:00 on 7 November 2025. The Order is required for tree works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the A1107 at Toll Bridge Road, Eyemouth.
The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the A1107, A1 and A1107 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

(EYEMOUTH FIREWORKS DISPLAY)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025
The Scottish Borders Council (Eyemouth Fireworks Display) (Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 8 November 2025 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 15:00 and 20:00. The Order is required in the interests of road/public safety due to increased traffic attending the Eyemouth Fireworks Display.
When the Order comes into effect, in the interests of road/public safety,
no person shall:
(a) drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along Harbour Road, Eyemouth from St Ellas Court to The Bantry between the hours of 15:00 and 20:00; and
(b) walk, cycle or wheel along the following roads between the hours of
19:15 and 20:00:
 (i) Harbour Road from St Ellas Court to The Bantry; and
 (ii) The Bantry from Harbour Road to Generals Wynd; and
(c) drive, or cause, or permit to be driven and/or walk, cycle or wheel along
Gunsgreen Quay, Eyemouth from Golf Course Road to Gunsgreen House ramp between the hours of 19:15 and 20:00.

(A6105 GREENLAW MOOR, POLWARTH)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025
The Scottish Borders Council (A6105 Greenlaw Moor, Polwarth) (Temporary
Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 3 November 2025 and is expected to remain in effect until 12 November 2025 between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 weekdays only.
The road will be open over the weekend of the 8 and 9 November 2025. The Order is required for resurfacing works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the A6105 at Greenlaw Moor, Polwarth.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the A6105, A697, B6460, A6112 and A6105 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
