PROPOSED RAISED ZEBRA CROSSING AND ASSOCIATED PARKING AMENDMENTS – ST ANNS ROAD N15

The Haringey (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No.**) Order 202*

T28

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and under Section 23 Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and section 90a and 90c of the Highways Act 1980 and the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 to introduce a raised zebra crossing on St Anns Road N15.

The general effect of the Order would be:-

  1. To revoke no waiting at any time restrictions on both sides of St Anns Road N15 from a point 1 metre west from the western junction with the La Rose Lane mini roundabout, west for approximately 45.8 metres (includes removal of school keep clear markings outside Chestnuts primary school).

  2. To convert 3.3 metres of single yellow line to double yellow lines on the south side of St Anns Road N15 opposite No.312 (eastern end of existing lining).

The above parking changes are required to facilitate the installation of the proposed raised zebra crossing and associated zig-zag markings on St Anns Road N15, on which vehicles would be prohibited from stopping at all times. These will be placed on the carriageway either side of the crossing: extending to 9 metres on both sides to the east of the crossing and to the west for 26 metres (north side of carriageway) and 9 metres (south side).

The centre of the raised zebra crossing will be located approximately 15 metres west from the western junction with the La Rose Lane mini roundabout. The raised element at the centre of the crossing will have a height of 75mm, length of 9 metres and will be full width of the carriageway.
