MORLEY ROAD E15 AND NELSON STREET E6 – INTRODUCTION OF CAR CLUB BAYS
The Newham (Parking Places) (Car Clubs) (No. 1, 2007) (Amendment No. 24) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Newham (‘the Council’) on 27 October 2025 made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
The general effect of the Order will be to introduce car club bays operating at any time in Morley Road E15 (one parking space adjacent to Nos. 207 to 229 Plaistow Road) and in Nelson Street E6 (two parking spaces approximately 12 metres from High Street South). The car club bays will replace the existing restrictions at those locations.
Copies of the Order, which will come into force on 3 November 2025 and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection by appointment during normal office hours at Newham Dockside, 1000 Dockside Road E16 2QU, by telephoning 020 3373 6415 or by emailing traffic.orders@newham.gov.uk for a period of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
