What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed
within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.
NOTTINGHAM ROAD, MELTON MOWBRAY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025
It is expected that the Order will come into force on 25/11/2025 and have a maximum duration of 1 day. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 1 day to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake ironwork defect repairs in the highway. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 24/11/2025 and have a maximum duration of 5 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake highway drainage repair works.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 24/11/2025 and have a maximum duration of 4 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 4 days to allow MJ Quinn on behalf of BT to undertake service apparatus repair works. There is no diversion route available at this location.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 24/11/2025 and have a maximum duration of 6 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 10 days to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake drainage installations & kerbing works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Welby Ln, Brook Cres, Melton Rd A6006, Welby Rd, Asfordby Valley; Welby Ln, St Bartholomews Wy, Melton Mowbray; Welby Rd, Welby & vice versa.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.
LOUGHBOROUGH ROAD, GRIMSTON
TEMPORARY IMPLEMENTATION OF 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ORDER 2025
The Order will come into force on 04/11/2025 and have a maximum duration of 18 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 18 months to allow Leicestershire County Council to implement traffic safety measures resulting from road traffic accidents at this location. No speed limit imposed by this order applies to
vehicles falling within regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 when used in accordance with regulation 3(5) of those Regulations.

The Order will come into force on 03/11/2025 and have a maximum duration of 4 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 4 days to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake service apparatus repair works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Palmerston Rd, Nottingham Rd, Highfield Ave, Abingdon Rd & vice versa.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025
The Order will come into force on 03/11/2025 and have a maximum duration of 25 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 25 days to allow Daniel Charles Construction Ltd to undertake housing development & associated highway works. The proposed
diversion route will be via: Manor Rd, Easthorpe Rd, Grantham Rd, Market St, Belvoir Rd, A52, Castle View Rd & vice versa.
