Halifax Area - Multiple Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Orders

What is happening?

THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF CALDERDALE
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
(SCAR BOTTOM LANE, ELLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Scar Bottom Lane from the junction of Saddleworth Road to the junction of Cat Lane for a distance of approximately 200 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times. The alternative route is via Brian Royd Lane, Rochdale Road, Stainland Road, Saddleworth Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into
operation on 17th November 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 23rd November 2025. The Order will be in operation
24 hours daily during this period.
(HEY LANE, ELLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Rapid Response Telecoms intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Hey Lane from opposite Ridgeway to outside Ivy Cottage for a distance of approximately 182 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via New Hey Road, Marsden Gate, Forest Hill Road and Berry Mill Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 17th November 2025 and remain in force
for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th November 2025. The Order will be in operation between 08:00 and 18:00 during this period.
(CAT LANE, ELLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Cat Lane from the junction of Rochdale Road to the junction of Scar Bottom Lane for a distance of approximately 500 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times. The alternative route is via Brian Royd Lane, Rochdale Road, Stainland Road, Saddleworth Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into
operation on 17th November 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 23rd November 2025. The Order will be in operation
24 hours daily during this period.
(FOOTPATH BRIGHOUSE 105 & 123, BRIGHOUSE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Engie Regeneration Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Footpath Brighouse 105 & 123 from end of Spout Hill to junction with Dewsbury Road and New Hey Road for a distance of approximately 315 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out works on or near the footpath. The alternative route for pedestrians as displayed on site. It is proposed that
the Order will come into operation on 3rd November 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 12 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 30th August 2026. The Order
will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(FOOTPATH ELLAND 019, ELLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Crest Nicholson have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall
proceed in the length of Footpath Elland 019 from its junction with Grasmere Drive to Shaw Lane for a distance of approximately 530 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out works on or near the footpath. The alternative route is via Grasmere Drive, Lower Edge Road, Shaw Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on
4th November 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 12 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 4th November 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(HEIGHT ROAD, MYTHOLMROYD)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Height Road from Foster Clough Farm to Rough Bottom for a distance of approximately 350 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times. The alternative route is via the unaffected part of Height Road, Nook Lane, Billy Lane, Parrock Lane, Akroyd Lane, Keighley Road, Commercial Street, Burnley Road, Midgley Road, the unaffected part of Height Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 17th November 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 30th November 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
