TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highways (Yorkshire & Humber) (No.20) Order 2025” authorising the stopping up of a length of footpath as leads off Wensley Grove carparking area, an irregular shaped western part width of Wensley Grove’s carparking area, 2 irregular shaped northern part widths of Wensley Grove’s car parking area and 2 irregular shaped northern part widths of Arncliffe Crescent at Brighouse, in the Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale. This is to enable development as permitted by Calderdale Metropolitan Borough Council under reference 24/00091/FUL.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting SUO3992858). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Calderdale Council Highways, Mulcture House, Mulcture Hall Road Halifax, HX5 0EE.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 30 October 2025.
