What is happening?

THE NORTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL

(Kings Road, Beith)

(30mph Speed Limit Extension Order) ORDER 2025

On 21st October 2025 North Ayrshire Council made the above-named Order in terms of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The Order which comes into operation 13th December 2025, was advertised in the Ardrossan and Saltcoats Herald on 18th August 2025 and the effect of the Order is as stated in said notice.

Copies of the Order are available for inspection during normal working hours Monday to Friday inclusive at the offices of:- Neighbourhood Services (Roads), North Ayrshire Council Cunninghame House, Irvine KA12 8EE

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from 31st October 2025, apply to the Court of Session for this purpose.

(DISABLED PERSONS’ PARKING PLACES)

(MASTER) ORDER 2025

The North Ayrshire Council propose to consider the introduction of a traffic regulation order for the provision of disabled persons parking places at various locations throughout North Ayrshire.

Full details of these proposals, which form the proposed (Disabled Persons’ Parking Places) (Master) Order 2025, together with the schedule and the statement of reasons for proposing to make this traffic regulation order, are available for inspection during normal office hours Monday to Friday inclusive at the offices of:- Neighbourhood Services (Roads) North Ayrshire Council Cunninghame House, Irvine KA12 8EE

Any person wishing to object to these proposals must send details of the grounds for objection in writing to the Head of Neighbourhood Services (Roads), Cunninghame House, Irvine, KA12 8EE by 28 November 2025.
