Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic
Order 2025 – Glinton Road, Helpston                     Ref: 26-177
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Glinton Road, Helpston as lies between points 20 metres either side of Helpston Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: via Glinton Rd, Maxey Rd, Helpston, Maxey Road, Maxey, High Street, Maxey Road, Northborough, A15, Helpston Road, Glinton, Helpston Road, Etton and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into force on the 01/11/2025 and will continue until the railway level crossing maintenance works have been completed or until the 31/10/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. 
It is anticipated that the works will take place between 23:00 and 09:00 from 01/11/2025 to 02/11/2025.

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic
Order 2025 – Woodcroft Road & Hurn Road         Ref: 26-178
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Woodcroft Road & Hurn Road, as lies between Marholm Farm and Gatehouse Farm. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Walton Road, Stamford Road, King Street, West Street, Glinton Road, Helpston Road, Woodcroft Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 03/11/2025 and will continue until the installation of BT poles works have been completed or until the 02/11/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 03/11/2025 and the 07/11/2025.

Order 2025 – Bainton Green Road, Ashton            Ref: 26-150
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Bainton Green Road, Ashton, approximately 70m east of Ufford Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Ufford Road, Helpston Road, Bainton Green Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 04/11/2025 and will continue until the water meter exchange works have been completed or until the 03/11/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 04/11/2025 and the 06/11/2025.

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as King Street, Lolham, Maxey as lies between points 20 metres either side of Bainton Green Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via High Street, Maxey Road, A15, Helpston Road, Glinton Road, West Street and King Street. The proposed Order will come into force on the 05/11/2025 and will continue until the railway level crossing works have been completed or until the 04/11/2026 whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place overnight between 23:00hrs and 05:00hrs from the 05/11/2025 to the 06/11/2025. Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 Ref: 26-152
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Tallington Road, Bainton as lies between points 20 metres either side of Bainton Village Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via Tallington Road, B1443, A15, A1175, Bainton Road and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into force on the 06/11/2025 and will continue until the railway level crossing works have been completed or until the 05/11/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. 
It is anticipated that the works will take place overnight between 23:00hrs and 05:00hrs from the 06/11/2025 to the 07/11/2025.

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Clarence Road, as lies between Searjeant Street and 250 Clarence Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Clarence Road, English Street, Bourges Boulevard, Searjeant Street and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 10/11/2025 and will continue until the new equipment and duct works have been completed or until the 09/11/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 10/11/2025 and the 21/11/2025.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: via B1443 Glinton Rd, Helpston Rd, A15, Maxey Rd, High St and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into force on the 08/11/2025 and will continue until the railway level crossing maintenance works have been completed or until the 07/11/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between 23:00 and 09:00 on the 08/11/2025 and 09/11/2025. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Hurn Road, Marholm, as lies between Gatehouse Farm and dead end. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. There is no alternative route for vehicles affected by this order. The proposed order will come into force on the 10/11/2025 and will continue until the access to underground structure and cabling works have been completed or until the 09/11/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 10/11/2025 and the 11/11/2025.

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Norfolk Street, at its junction with Cromwell Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Lincoln Road, Cobden Avenue, Cromwell Road, Taverners Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 11/11/2025 and will continue until the electrical works have been completed or until the 10/11/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. 
It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 11/11/2025 and the 14/11/2025.

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Fletton Parkway J4, as lies between Frank Perkins Parkway J4 north on slip and J4 off slip. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this Notice. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Frank Perkins Parkway J4 north on slip, Frank Perkins Parkway, Frank Perkins Parkway roundabout 5, Frank Perkins Parkway south, Frank Perkins Parkway J4 This notice is made in the interest of VRS repair works and will remain effective for no more than 5 days from 04/11/2025. The Notice shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which it is made, any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or any person acting with permission or upon the direction of a police Officer in uniform.

Access will be maintained to properties affected by this Notice. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Thorpe Wood, Nene Parkway roundabout 33, Nene Parkway. This notice is made in the interest of VRS repair works and will remain effective for no more than 5 days from 03/11/2025. The Notice shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which it is made, any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or any person acting with permission or upon the direction of a police Officer in uniform.
