NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE COUNCIL (Dawes Lane, Scunthorpe) (Scunthorpe Level Crossing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
What is happening?
On 20th Aug 2025, North Lincolnshire Council made
an Order, the effect of which prohibits any vehicle from
proceeding along Dawes Lane, Scunthorpe at the point
of the Level Crossing. This Order took effect on 23rd Aug
2025 and will be effective until 22nd Feb 2027. Under this
same Order, it is now proposed to undertake further works
(Annual Barrier Test at the Level Crossing) necessitating
the closure of Dawes Lane on 23rd Nov 2025 (but varied,
if necessary, due to any unforeseen circumstances) 7am3pm. The diversion is Dawes Lane, B1207, Ermine St, A18,
A1029, High St East and reverse.
