PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(WESTBURY STREET/WHITMORE STREET)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton
City Council propose to make an Order under Section
14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from
proceeding on the following stretches of road:
· Westbury Street closed its entire length in both
directions. Access/egress to be maintained.
· Whitmore Street closed its entire length in both
directions. Access/egress to be maintained.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of
eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will
be undertaken on 9th November 2025 and
16th November 2025, between the hours of 06:00 and
12:00.
The Order is required to facilitate carriageway
resurfacing by CWC.
