Cromford Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
CROMFORD ROAD, LANGLEY MILL
WHEN: 17 November to 23 November 2025.
WHERE: Cromford Road, Langley Mill between its Jct. with A610, Cromford Road and its Jct. with A608, Station Road.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway repairs.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A610 from Jct. with Cromford Road to New Derby Road, Langley Mill Bypass, A610 to New Derby Road roundabout off slip, Langley Mill Interchange, New Derby Road, Derby Road, Enterprise Way, Station Road, Cromford Road and vice versa.
Please note that this will be a rolling Road Closure.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
