NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Sheffield City Council proposes to make an Order under the provisions of Section 84 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the Order will be to introduce a 20mph speed limit on the whole or on parts of Ballifield Avenue, Ballifield Close, Ballifield Crescent, Ballifield Drive, Ballifield Place, Ballifield Rise, Ballifield Road, Ballifield Way, Beaver Avenue, Beaver Close, Beaver Drive, Flockton Avenue, Flockton Crescent, Flockton Drive, Flockton Road, Handsworth Grange Close, Handsworth Grange Crescent, Handsworth Grange Drive, Handsworth Grange Road, Handsworth Grange Way, Kirkdale Crescent, Kirkdale Drive, Longley Close, Longley Drive, Longley Farm View, Longley Hall Grove, Longley Hall Rise, Longley Hall Road, Longley Hall Way, Longley Lane, Old Retford Road, Pickard Crescent, Pickard Drive, Piper Road, Shubert Close.

Between 30 October 2025 and 27 November 2025.

Copies of the proposed Orders, plans showing the roads concerned and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may also be examined during normal opening hours at First Point Reception, Howden House, 1 Union Street, Sheffield, S1 2SH.

Any observations, either supporting or objecting to the proposed Order, including the grounds for your objection, should be sent through the email address provided or in writing to the undersigned by 27 November 2025.
