Foljambe Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
FOLJAMBE ROAD, CHESTERFIELD
WHEN: 17 November to 20 November 2025 (19:00 to 06:00 each night).
WHERE: Foljambe Road, Chesterfield from its Jct. with West Bars Interchange to its Jct. with Saltergate.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Clockwise - Saltergate, Clarence Road, West Bars, West Bars Interchange. Anti-Clockwise - West Bars Interchange, Rutland Road, Saltergate.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
