What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(REEDHAM GARDENS FP175) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council, having obtained the consent of the Secretary of
State for Transport, shall be extending the duration of the
above mentioned Order, which was originally made on
30 April 2025 under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and prohibited
pedestrians from proceeding on Reedham Gardens
FP175 between Reedham Gardens and Oakley Grove.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of six
months, and it was originally intended that the works would
be undertaken from 1 May 2025 until 1 November 2025.
Following application to the Secretary of State for
Transport for authority to extend the Order it is, however,
anticipated that the Order will now operate until 1 May
2026.
Pedestrian Diversion Route: Oakley Grove, Oakley Road,
Buckley Road, Warstones Road, Pinfold Lane, Reedham
Gardens and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate development works by
Morro Partnerships Ltd on behalf of City of Wolverhampton
Council Housing.
