What is happening?

(STANFORD IN THE VALE PARISH) (SPEED LIMITS) (NO.2) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that on 27 October 2025 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The order which comes into force on 03 November 2025, extends the existing 30mph speed limit on the A417 Faringdon Road at Stanford-in-the-Vale, north-westwards by an additional 405 metres, replacing the existing 40mph speed limit in its entirety in the process.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Stanford in the Vale Parish) (Speed Limits) Order 2025 is revoked/replaced.

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Western Valley, Didcot Footpath 423/2/10
Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 10 November 2025
Coming into force: 13 November 2025
This Order is being introduced because of road construction works which are anticipated to take 6 months to complete.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit use of that part of Footpath 423/2/10 running eastwards from Cow Lane. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath. The footpath will be diverted in stages close-by around the works. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
