Ambarrow Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Patching Works
What is happening?

(AMBARROW LANE, SADNHURST) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in any direction along: a) Any vehicle along Ambarrow Lane, Sandhurst between Lower Sandhurst Road and Ambarrow Lodge.
The pedestrian alternative route for vehicles affected by section (a) of this Order will be via A321 Wokingham Road, A321 High Street, Lower Church Road, Lower Sandhurst Road and this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while the Highway Authority carry out carriageway patching works on the carriageway.
The proposed Order will come into operation on the 25th November 2025, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place from the 09:30 until 18:00 on 25th November 2025.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
