North Street, Temporary Road Closure Due To Manhole Works
What is happening?
BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL
(B3022 NORTH STREET, WINKFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from travelling along:
a) B3022 North Street, Winkfield in both directions between the junctions of Squirrel Lane and Montague Park.
The Northbound alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via: A330 Lovel Road, B3034 Lovel Lane, A332 Windsor Road, B383 Mounts Hill.
The Southbound alterative route for vehicles affected by this order will be via: B383 Mounts Hill, A332 Windsor Road, A330 Winkfield Road, A330 Hatchet Lane, A330 Lovel Road. The purpose of this Order is to ensure the safety of the public and workers while Thames Water carries out repairs to manhole covers. The proposed Order will come into operation on the 10th November 2025, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place between 09:30 and 18:00 on the 10th and 11th of November 2025. The highway will remain clear and open at all other times This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
