What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

(Spicketts Ln, Cuddington) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Spicketts Ln for approx. 145M. Alternative route: Great Stone, Holly Tree Ln, Frog Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach access to telegraph pole works commence on 19 November 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 19 November 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Westfield Rd, Long Crendon) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Westfield Rd for approx. 59M. Access maintained for residents. The closure is required whilst Thames Water new water supply works commence on 11 November 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 11 November 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Thornton Rd, Beachampton) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Thornton Rd for approx. 31M. Alternative route: Main St, Nash Rd, Stratford Rd, Thornton Rd, Beachampton Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Anglian Water stop tap replacement works commence on 11 November 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 11 November 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Leckhampstead Rd, Akeley) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Leckhampstead Rd for approx. 83M. Alternative route: Leckhampstead Rd, Main St, Towcester Rd, Foscott Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Anglian Water repair to water main works commence on 10 November 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 10 November 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Frogmore Ln, Long Crendon) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Frogmore Ln for approx. 95M. Alternative route: Frogmore Ln, Sandy Ln, Bicester Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Thames Water fire hydrant exchange works commence on 8 November 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 8 November 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Mill Ln, Stratton Audley) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Mill Ln for approx. 20M. Alternative route: Stratton Audley Rd, Watergate Farm Ln, Buckingham Rd, Bicester Rd, Mill Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst bridge maintenance works commence on 25 November 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 25 November 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration

(Marsh Ln, Bishopstone) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Marsh Ln for approx. 321M. Alternative route: North Lee Ln, Risborough Rd, Station Rd, Ellesborough Rd, Aylesbury Rd, New Rd, Longwick Rd, Thame Rd, Lower Icknield Way, Owlswick Ln, Stockwell Ln, Grove Ln, Marsh Rd, Marsh Ln, Bishopstone and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Network Rail track renewals commence on 14 November 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 14 November 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Various Rds, Aylesbury & Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in the below rds. Coronation Rd, High Wycombe: Wycombe Ln, Wooburn Green: Marswoth Rd, Pitstone: Drayton Rd, Newton Longville: Leighton Rd, Wing. The closure is required whilst conventional surfacing works Phase 1: Headline Treatment works to be undertaken between October 2025 to April 2026 Phase 2: Review of Site and lining if applicable between April 2026 and April 2027 works commence on 10 November 2025. PLEASE NOTE: The full duration of this multi-order is to allow coordination of a number of works, and flexibility given their weather dependent nature. The actual times that each road will be closed for will be much less than this and could be either day or night works only. The full details will be publicised on one.network when confirmed, with signs on the affected road erected two weeks before the closure. The proposed Order will come into operation on 10 November 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Various Rds, Aylesbury) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in the rds below. Edgecott Rd, Hillesden: Edgecott Rd, Twyford Rd, Preston Bissett: Edgecott Rd, Calvert Green. The closure is required whilst Failed roads commence on 10th November 2025. PLEASE NOTE: The full duration of this multi-order is to allow coordination of a number of works, and flexibility given their weather dependent nature. The actual times that each road will be closed for will be much less than this and could be either day or night works only. The full details will be publicised on one.network when confirmed, with signs on the affected road erected two weeks before the closure. The proposed Order will come into operation on 10th November 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
