Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Tiddington, Albury View

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 17 November 2025

Coming into force: 24 November 2025

This Order is being introduced because of BDUK fibre cabling works which are anticipated to be completed 5 December 2025. This is a 24 hour daily road closure. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the southern section of Albury View leading to Hilltop – Hazle Cottage. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Littleworth, London Street

Prohibition of Through Traffic and Temporary 30 mph speed restriction

Date of Order: 10 November 2025

Coming into force: 17 November 2025

This Order is being introduced because of carriageway improvement works which are anticipated to be completed on 5 December 2025. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the section of London Street between the A420 and London Street service road. The order also restricts the speed limit to 30 mph on the A420 from a point 250 metres north of its junction with London Street southwards for a distance of 500 metres. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.

The alternative route for traffic is: Westbound London Street – Marlborough Street – A417 – A420, A417 – A420;

Eastbound traffic: A420 – A417 – A4095 – London Street.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.

Kidmore End & Checkendon, Park Lane

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 27 October 2025

Coming into force: 4 November 2025

This Order is being introduced for excavations for fibre cabling which are anticipated to take 7 days to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles proceeding in that section of Park Lane from the junction of Horsepond Road to past The Cottages. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. Traffic will be diverted via Park Lane – Unnamed Road – Wyford Road – Horsepond Road and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.

Goring Heath, Collins End & Buncers Lane

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 3 November 2025

Coming into force: 7 November 2025

This Order is being introduced because of excavations for fibre cabling work is anticipated to take 21 days to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles proceeding in Collins End & Buncers Lane. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The traffic diversions will be signed locally.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 27 October 2025

Coming into force: 3 November 2025

This Order is being introduced because of kerbing, resurfacing and drainage works which are anticipated to take 4 weeks to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles proceeding in that section of Spring Lane between Caspe Hill Farm and Baggs Cottage. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. Traffic will be diverted via the A417 – Chalk Hill – Baker Street and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.

Wallingford, Hithercroft, OX10 9RB

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 27 October 2025

Coming into force: 3 November 2025

This Order is being introduced because of gas main replacement works which are anticipated to take 7 months to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles proceeding in that section of Hithercroft at OX10 9RB from the junction of Bosley Way Roundabout to the section of road between Church Road and Hithercroft. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. Traffic will be diverted via Bosley Way – Wallingford Road – Church Road and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
