What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE –
LYEWAY LANE, ROPLEY, EAST HAMPSHIRE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED:
That part of Lyeway Lane between its junction with Church Lane and continuing to a point 130 metres East on Lyeway Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:
Church Street, Vicarage Lane, Berry Hill, A31, Gascoigne Road, Gilbert Street, Swelling Hill, Kitwood Lane, Hawthorn Road, Lyeway Lane.
DURATION OF ORDER:
From Monday 27th October 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.
(Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
