ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
PART OF BULMER LANE AND PEAR TREE ACCESS ROAD (PRIVATE), HOLME UPON SPALDING MOOR
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the
date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along part of Bulmer Lane from a property called Sutherland northbound for approximately 400 metres to a property
called Pond House, Holme Upon Spalding Moor commencing 26 November 2025 until 1 December 2025 for the purposes of installing ducting and chambers for the new BDUK fibre network on behalf of Quickline Communications works. The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with
ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within five days.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via Bulmer Lane, A163 Selby Road,
Sands Lane and Baileywood Lane.
The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. The roads will be closed to all through traffic but access will be maintained for residents, emergency vehicles and pedestrians.
