What is happening?

Order 2022/853 – Article 19
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF A12 MAIN ROAD AND A1094 FRIDAY STREET, BENHALL
SIZEWELL C (Nuclear Generating Station) intends to make an order closing the A12 MAIN ROAD between its junction with Park Road and its junction with the B1121 and A1094 FRIDAY STREET for approximately 300m south of its junction with A12. The closure is to facilitate works associated with the construction of the new roundabout. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.
The A12 diversion route will be A1145; A146; A143; A140; A14 and vice versa.
The A1094 diversion route will be B1122, B1069, A1094, B1069, A1152, A12 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate between the hours of 8pm Friday 21/11/2025 and 5am Monday 24/11/2025.
