Multiple Roads, Horndean, Finchdean And Rowlands Castle - 30 and 40 mph Speed Limit

What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council made the above-mentioned Order on Tuesday 28th October 2025, in exercise of its powers and duties under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Act and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act, and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act. General nature and effectS of the Order: will be to designate B2149 Manor Lodge Road between a point 104 metres north-west of its junction with C54 Castle Road a point 49 metres north-west of its junction with C54 Castle Road, an approximate distance of 55 metres as 30 Miles per hour by virtue of section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act (RTRA) (1984).  This order will also correct a few minor anomalies from The Hampshire (Various Roads, Horndean, Finchdean and Rowlands Castle) (30 and 40 Miles Per Hour Speed Limit) Order 2024, with no changes to restrictions as they appear on street.  
DATE OF OPERATION: The order will come into force on Saturday 8th November 2025.
