What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U1601 WASH LANE, KESSINGLAND
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U1601 Wash Lane, Kessingland from the junction with the B1437 to Glebe Road East to facilitate a gas mains replacement. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1437, Filed Lane, Wash Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 27/10/2025 - 10/11/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE A137 IPSWICH ROAD, BENTLEY AND WHERSTEAD
Suffolk County Council has made an order for a temporary 30mph speed restriction on the following roads:
A137 Ipswich Road, Bentley from 80 metres north of Church Road to Ipswich Road, Wherstead
A137 Ipswich Road, Wherstead from Ipswich Road, Bentley to Ipswich Road, Tattingstone.
This is to facilitate carriageway improvement works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
It is intended that this measure will operate from 27/10/2025 - 01/12/2025 from 9pm - 5am. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U8106 WARE ROAD, RINGSHALL
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U8106 Ware Road, Ringshall from the junction with Hitcham Road for 100 metres north eastbound to facilitate water meter maintenance. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Hitcham Road, Bird Street, Wattisham Road, Battisford Road, Laurels Road, Bildeston Road, Wattisham Road, Ware Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 05/11/2025 from 8am - 6pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U5009 SIR ALF RAMSEY WAY AND U5021 CONSTANTINE ROAD, IPSWICH
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U5009 Sir Alf Ramsey Way, Ipswich from Portmans Walk to Alderman Road and the U5021 Constantine Road, Ipswich from Sir Alf Ramsey Way to Russell Road to facilitate alteration of parking bay lining and signage. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion routes will be:
For U5009 Sir Alf Ramsey Way: Sir Alf Ramsey Way, the A137, the B1075, the A1022, the A1071, Portman Road and vice versa
For U5021 Constantine Road: Russell Road, the B1075, the A1022, the A1071, Portman Road, Sir Alf Ramsey Way and no vice versa
It is intended that the closure will operate from 05/11/2025 - 09/11/2025 from 6pm - 5am but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C559 NORTON ROAD, THURSTON
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C559 Norton Road, Thurston from 115 metres southwest of the junction with Church Road for 100 metres westbound to facilitate tree cutting. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be:
Ixworth Road, Thurston Road, Upper Town, The Street, Fen Road, Bull Road, the A1088, Road from A1088 to Thurston, Great Green, Norton Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 27/10/2025 - 29/10/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
