(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF LITTLE BUSHEY LANE, BUSHEY)
ORDER NO.3 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Little Bushey Lane, Bushey from its junction with Mendip Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 65m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Little Bushey Lane, Coldharbour Lane, Chiltern Avenue and Little Bushey Lane.
The Order is needed because the replacement of existing telecom poles is proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 11 November 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ELFRIDA ROAD, WATFORD)

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Elfrida Road, Watford from its junction with Lammas Road south eastwards for its entire length (“the Road”), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because brickwork repair works are proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 10 November 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE FOOTPATH SITUATED
BETWEEN NOS.8–10 FAY GREEN, ABBOTS LANGLEY)

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the footpath situated between Nos.8–10 Fay Green, Abbots Langley from its junction with Fay Green south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with South Way, a distance of approximately 74m (“the Footpath”).
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the south, east and south sides of Fay Green, the footway situated on the west side of The Graylings and the footway situated on the north side of South Way.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Footpath.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 10 November 2025 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Footpath.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of The Garth, Abbots Langley from its junction with Upper Highway north eastwards for a distance of approximately 90m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Upper Highway, Long Elms and The Garth.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 10 November 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF A4125 EASTBURY ROAD,
WATFORD) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the southbound carriageway of A4125 Eastbury Road, Watford from its junction with the A4008 Bushey Arches roundabout south westwards for a distance of approximately 27m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via A411 (Lower High Street/Dalton Way/Waterfields Way/Beechen Grove/Exchange Road), A4145 Vicarage Road, A4178 (Wiggenhall Road/Deacons Hill) and A4125 Eastbury Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 24 October 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Hartsbourne Road, Bushey from its junction with Shaw Close north eastwards to its junction with A4140 High Road, a distance of approximately 49m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Hartsbourne Road, Prowse Avenue, Beamish Drive, The Comyns, Warren Road and A4140 High Road.
The Order is needed because utility repair works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on
28 October 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Leaford Crescent, Watford from its northernmost junction with Gammons Lane south westwards for a distance of approximately 85m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Gammons Lane and Leaford Crescent.
The Order is needed because utility repair works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

RESTRICTIONS IN ORPHANAGE ROAD, WATFORD)

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Orphanage Road, Watford from its junction with the Radlett Road roundabout north westwards and south westwards to its junction with the Reeds Crescent roundabout, a distance of approximately 319m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Radlett Road, Queens Road and Orphanage Road.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on

An alternative route will be via A4125 (Watford Road/Sandy Lane), Batchworth Lane, Davenham Avenue and Eastbury Avenue.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

AND CROXLEY GREEN) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:–

that length of Chapel Close, Watford from its junction with High Road north westwards, south westwards and clockwise for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of The Green, Sarratt from its junction with Red Lion Lane south eastwards for a distance of approximately 138m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via The Green, Poles Hill, Dunny Lane, The Street, The Common, Bucks Hill, Toms Hill, Chandlers Lane, Redhall Lane, Sarratt Road, Dimmocks Lane and The Green.
The Order is needed because utility connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (SARRATT FOOTPATH 034, SARRATT)
CYCLE TRACKS ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made an Order, requiring confirmation, under Section 3(1) of the Cycle Tracks Act 1984 to designate part of the footpath named Sarratt Footpath 034 as a cycle track, over which the public have a right of way on pedal cycles (other than pedal cycles which are motor vehicles) and a right of way on foot, as specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
