What is happening?

THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (MANSFIELD, BATH LANE AND ROCK VALLEY) (PROPOSED PARKING RESTRICTIONS) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025 (2280)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended, the effects of which will be in respect of roads at Mansfield in the District of Mansfield: ‑
1. Proposed Limited Waiting Parking Bay (All Vehicles, 2 Hours Return Prohibited Within 1 Hour Mon-Sat 8am-6pm): along the following lengths of road: -
BATH LANE, MANSFIELD (the north-east side)
From a point opposite a point 12 metres north-east of its junction with Rock Valley, in a north-easterly direction for 50 metres.
2. Proposed prohibition of Waiting At Any Time along the following lengths of road: -
ROAD A, MANSFIELD (the north-west side)
From its junction with Rock Valley in a north-easterly direction for 15 metres.

Any objections should clearly state the reasons for the objections and should reach us in writing, either by letter or email, by the 26th November 2025. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council’s procedures at the appropriate time.
