Breckstreet Lane, Seaton Ross - Temporary Traffic Regulation

What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 PART OF
BRECKSTREET LANE, SEATON ROSS

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the
effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing
any vehicle to proceed/from proceeding on foot/
whether on foot, pedal cycle or on horseback along
Part of Breckstreet Lane, Seaton Ross between
08.00 hours and 18.00 hours.
The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed
Breckstreet Lane, Seaton Ross works, to be carried out
and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring
the safety of the public. It is anticipated that the works
will be completed within one day.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order is
via Breckstreet Lane, Main Road, Tanner Lane, Laytham
Road, road from Foss Dyke to Major Bridge, Southfield
Lane, South End, Church Lane, Old Chapel Access Road,
North End and Mill Lane, Seaton Ross CP, Foggathorpe
CP, Howdenshire Ward, Wolds Weighton Ward.
The road will be closed to all through traffic but remain
open at all times to pedestrians and for vehicular
access to properties directly affected by the closure
and for emergency services. The Order will commence
27 October 2025 from 08.00 hours until 18.00
hours and continue in force for a period not exceeding
eighteen months or until the works which it is
proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever
is the earlier. Further information can be obtained from
