What is happening?
THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL
(TRAFFIC REGULATION; RESTRICTIONS ON WAITING,
LOADING AND UNLOADING AND BUS LANES: EAST AREA)
TRAFFIC ORDER 2025 - TRO/21/28B
The Council on 22/10/25 made the above Order, which will come into operation on 29/10/25. The effect is as stated in The Scotsman dated 19/04/24 (TRO/21/28A), with changes as approved by Committee: (1) Hope La, removal of the Prohibition of Motor Vehicles restriction. Details of the made order and related documents, including our privacy notice, can be viewed free of charge between 9:30 & 15:30 Mon-Fri from 24/10/25 to 5/12/25 at Waverley Court Reception, or online during the same period at www.edinburgh.gov.uk/
trafficorders. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any relevant regulation has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from 24/10/25 apply to the Court of Session for this purpose.
