What is happening?

BRIGHTON AND HOVE CITY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER – HODSHROVE ROAD

  1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect:–

Controlled Parking Zone D

Single Yellow Line Monday to Saturday – 7am to 5pm

Hodshrove Road West From existing double yellow lines northwards for 24.5 metres to south side of junction with Hodshrove Lane. D
Hodshrove Road West From north side of junction with Hodshrove Lane northwards for 35 metres. D
Hodshrove Road East From kerb build out of Hodshrove Place bus stop opposite Hodshrove Lane northwards for 34m to pedestrian tactile paving. D
Hodshrove Lane South From junction with Hodshrove Road westwards for 123 metres. D

Controlled Parking Zone D

Reinstate Double Yellow Line

Hodshrove Lane North From junction with Hodshrove Road westwards for 127 metres. D

  1. The Order is necessary to allow development works to be carried out safely.

This Order comes into force on 31 October for 48 months or until such sooner time as the works are completed.
