What is happening?

BRIGHTON AND HOVE CITY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER – SIDEHILL DRIVE, PORTSLADE

  1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect:-

    The temporary closure of Sidehill Drive outside No. 16, except for access.

  2. The Order is necessary to allow contractors working on behalf of UKPN carry out a new customer connection.

  3. Pedestrian access should not be affected and access for resident’s vehicular traffic will be as directed on site.

  4. This Order comes into force on 11 November 2025 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed, which is anticipated to be 18 November 2025.
